Snow

Snow is a collection of photographs inspired by a section of Nader Naderpour's poem and photographs from Abbas Kiarostami's Snow series. The photos combine images of trees and snow, and they are taken in black and white. Abbas Kiarostami once gave an interesting example regarding snow. He said: When snow falls, the earth becomes like a white sheet of paper on which nature has painted.
In this collection, there is a focus on the proportions, composition, and lighting. The photos are sometimes clear and sometimes blurred. This approach is intended to create a stronger poetic and misty atmosphere, focusing on the whiteness of the snow and the form created from the combination of plants and snow. To enhance this, the photos are taken in black and white. The photos reveal the subtle details of snowy scenes in nature.

A part of Nader Naderpour's poem is as follows:

Tonight, the earth has bid farewell
to all of its own sins.
The white asceticism of snow
has hidden within itself human heresy.
